This contest continues to be our favorite event. Not just because we live in Illinois, but mostly because of the fact that it is a beautiful setting, cooking in a baseball field, backed up to corn. Yes, it is Bar-B-Que's Field of Dreams. And one of our dreams was realized when we won an award for Pork Butt. Based on the number and quality of teams (>60 teams and numerous State Champions every year) we had finally won a big one!

Yes, you read that correctly, Pork Butt. For those not familiar with Bar-B-Que, the Pork Butt, or as it sometimes called Boston Butt, is actually part of the shoulder. We have finally arrived on the Bar-B-Que scene with an award at a big contest.
